US NAVY USING VIKODECK® SHIELD

The US Navy approached Vipo about using Vikodeck® Shield on board ships as hang fire missile protection. We were asked specifically about how the materials would work with the exhaust from a vertical lift aircraft.

After extensive testing and trials, the US Navy opted to install Vikodeck® Shield on their EPF class of ships. This solved an earlier unsolvable challenge.
